MNSOTA Middle Level Honors Orchestra
February 13-14, 2009

NOTE: the 2008-09 Handbook has the wrong dates.  The correct dates are: Friday, February 13 & Saturday, February 14, 2009.

The Middle Level Honors Orchestra is for students in grades 7-9.  It is an opportunity for the best string players from the state to join together for a rehearsal on February 13 at Northwestern College in Roseville. The Middle Level Honors Orchestra performs as part of the Minnesota Music Educators Association (MMEA) Mid-Winter Clinic on February 14, 2009.

We are delighted that our guest conductor this year will be Nobuyoshi Yasuda, orchestra director at the UW-Eau Claire and music director of the Chippewa Valley Symphony.

Important Dates
October 21 — Tape/CD audition deadline
February 13-14 — Rehearsal at Northwestern College, Roseville;
February 14 — Performance at MMEA Midwinter Clinic
